About Me

Dr. Sengupta is an Associate Professor of the Department of Engineering Technology at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). He is also the Program Director of the Occupational Safety and Health Engineering (OSHE) Program under the department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at NJIT.  He teaches graduate courses in ergonomics and safety in OSHE program and undergraduate courses in manufacturing engineering technology department. His research interests include industrial workstation design, physiological cost of work, biomechanical modeling, engineering anthropometry and human modeling.
