2009 BCANJ Summer Intern Program Kicks Off at NJIT

On Monday, February 23, 2009 Ms. Jill Schiff and Mr. Jim O’Donnell, representing the Building Contractors Association of New Jersey (BCANJ) met with over 30 Junior and Senior students for the kickoff meeting the BCANJ’s Summer Intern Program. This highly successful internship program, now in its 28th year, is open to all NJIT Junior Construction Engineering Technology (CET) and Construction Management Technology (CMT) students. This program has provided a valuable example of the cooperation between the University and Industry and in the past has placed summer interns at such important projects the NJ Performing Arts Center, The Prudential Center and the Giants and Jets Training facilities.
