The Department of Engineering Technology has many Bachelor of Science programs designed to meet the needs of community college transfer students in the areas of Computer Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Management Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Surveying Engineering Technology, and Telecommunications Management Technology.  We also have a four-year Surveying program for those students with a high school diploma.

All courses are taught by a faculty with many years of industrial experience as well as advanced academic degrees.  Most technical courses have laboratory and hands-on components to enhance classroom instruction.  Curricula are designed to prepare students for employment in a wide variety of technical fields, and graduate placement is excellent.  The salaries of engineering technology graduates are among the highest at NJIT.  Many of our students pursue graduate degrees in engineering, management and other areas.
